Hell-Bourg and its surroundings offer many activities accessible to all , ideal for discovering the circus gently, with family or simply to take your time.

🌿 Nature & observation

Cascades Road

Along the RD48, several stops allow you to admire the iconic waterfalls of the cirque:

• -The Bride's Veilfamous for its many streams,
• - The White Waterfall , one of the highest on the island.

On this same road, the " Pisse en l'air" offers a unique passage:
A thin waterfall falls from the cliff and cars pass under the stream of water, as if under a natural shower, typical of Salazie.

Moorhen Pond

A calm body of water surrounded by casuarina trees, bamboo and ferns.
Ideal for a nature break, observing the moorhens and enjoying the peace and quiet.
The site has kiosks and barbecue areas.

🎨 Local crafts & products

In Hell-Bourg and the cirque, you can discover authentic craftsmanship:

• - basketry made from vacoa wood,
• - jams, honeys and herbal teas,
• - products made from chayote,
• - vanilla and local creations.

Simple encounters, often directly in workshops or small shops.

💦 Canyoning (accessible to the general public)

Canyoning allows you to discover Salazie in a different way, in complete safety.
Supervised by professionals, you move between natural slides, small waterfalls and clear water pools.

Some routes are particularly suitable for beginners and families, for a fun and refreshing first experience.
